How do I uncompress Outlook Express dbx folders?

My old computer crashed, but had backup on CD to restore
files to my new computer. However, it appears I didn't
backup the PST files from Microsoft Outlook 2000, but do
have various other Outlook 2000 files. I do have a
multitude of DBX files however, and believe what I'm
looking for is contained in them. I have tried placing
them in the Outlook Express and Outlook 2000 folders, but
no luck getting either to open them. I think if I can
get them uncompressed I'll be ok. Anyone have any idea
of how to uncompress dbx files?
