how do I turn on autoarchive for a whole group of folders?

Is there a way to turn on AutoArchive for a whole group of folders instead of
turning it on one folder at a time?

It's on for all folders by default as soon as you define the Archive PST
with File>Archive and turn it on with Tools>Options>Other>Autoarchive>Run
AutoArchive every
 
Does this work for a network situation as well?

I know I can archive public folders, but can I set a global preference that will archive everyone's folders, but do it so it archives each person's folders to a folder accessible by them only?

Relying on people to set their own archive procedures is not working right now.

I don't know enough about what Outlook exposes to GPOs or the registry to
say. Perhaps someone else can answer.
