How do I turn off UAC ???

I need to turn UAC off
I have a left over Winnt folder in C drive and UAC isn't isn't letting me
delete it even after taking ownership of it

Start\Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\User Accounts\Turn User
Account Control on or off. Uncheck 'Use User Account Control (UAC) to help
protect your computer'. Click OK. Restart your computer. You will get
warnings about UAC being off might I warn you, but you probably can also
disable the warnings if they get on your nerves.
