Only you would be able to find out. Nobody here knows what you're getting,
and if they are actually from MS. Look for an optout clause in the mail. If
it is from MS, you could contact them. If it's actually spam being disguised
as MS, that's another story.
I don't know what you mean by 'slammed', but it sure doesn't sound like MS.
: My inbox is being slammed w/ e-mail from Microsoft at work and Microsoft
at
: home w/ links to all sorts of articles. How do I opt out?
You mean in the RSS folder (or a subfolder in there)?
Those subscriptions are coming from your subscriptions in Internet Explorer.
You can unsubscribe by simply deleting those RSS subfolders or via Tools->
Account Settings...
In addition you could disable the feed list syncing via;
Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options...-> option: Sync RSS
Feeds...
If these are the emails they send (rather than the rss feeds), good luck
unsubscribing - the links (at the bottom of the message) only work with
accounts that have passports. This is one good use of the blocked sender's
list. <g>
