How do I turn off calendar sharing - I've misplaced the password

Once upon a time, I turned on calendar sharing. And I've never used it. But
obviously something has changed because each time I start Outlook, I get
prompted for the email user name and password. The user name actually has
three drop down choices. No amount of trying any of these has matched up with
any password that I recall.

I just want to stop this. How?

If it's your calendar, right click on the calendar, publish to internet,
remove from server.

I'm running Outlook 2007, maybe that makes a difference but... "right click
on the calendar" - which calendar (icon) where? I tried the calendar icon in
the group of mail, claendar, address, tasks buttons but that obviously isn't
the claendar you are refering to. Thanks.

The one you right clicked on to share it? Open the calendar module by
clicking the calendar button on the lower left side of outlook (navigation
pane) - then right click on your calendar folder.

I have read a couple of the suggested answers to this question but am unable
to floow them. When I right-click on my calendar and choose "Change Sharing
Permissions" a dialogue-box appears with four tabs in it. These are General,
Home Page, AutoArchive and Synchronization.
There is nowhere in any of these four tabs to change sharing permissions.
I would really appreciate fresh suggestions as to how to stop sharing my
calendar.
Thanks in advance.

What type of account do you have? Who are you sharing it with?

Only Exchange server accounts can share the calendar. Outlook 2007 users
can publish their calendar to office online and share it but that doesn't
use the permissions tab.

Sorry, I ommitted to say that it's Outlook 2007.
As you surmise, I have an Exchange server account and am sharing my calendar
with other colleagues using the same server.

Are you using your mailbox as the delivery location? You can't share PST
folders.

If it is the mailbox, go to tools, trust center, addins - in the dropdown at
the bottom, select exchange client extensions then go... verify that
exchange property pages is checked.
