How do I turn off 2003 Outlook SYNCHRONIZATION?

I just set up MS/Office 2003 with Outlook and I do not want to have it try to
synchronize because ti seems to want to synchronizxe everything, even my
personal folders that I store on my local machine.

How do I turn it off?

which Syncronization? Outlook dont synchronize with any folders on your hd!
