I'm using microsoft powerpoint, from the Office 2000 set as far as I know. I
want to turn my slide so it is vertical like a piece of paper to make it fit
right in a binder.

BlueRazz93,

How do you plan to use the binder? Will your reader view the slides like a
novel, or will your reader view the slides like a flip chart (where the long
side of the slide is at the bottom and top respectively)?

It is pretty simple to change the page setup to create slides in portrait
format vice a a landscape format. However, portrait slides tend to look silly
on a monitor or on a projection screen.

Do you want to retain the slides' landscape proportions and layout? If you
convert an existing PPT from landscape to portrait the P&L will change.

To change the page setup: click on the file menu, select page setup. Change
the slide orientation to portrait. You should also be able to change the
orientation for notes, handouts, and outlines between portrait and landscape
modes.
