How do I transfer my Vista Mail files to Outlook express

I use Vista Mail on my desktop but when I go away on my travels I want to
transfer mail from the desktop to my Laptop with Win XP and OE. How do I do
that?

Save the mail messages as EML files and then drag them into a folder in an
open instance of OE.

The problem seems to be that I can only select and save one message at the
time which is impractical for copying a large number of messages -:(
