When replacement DVDs are sent in a monthly update, what is the easiest way
to tell if any of the software products I have installed have been
changed/updated on the new DVDs? Or are updates only made via service packs
or new product version numbers?

Hi James,

First of all, I would like to confirm my understanding of your issue. From
your description, I understand that you need to know how to tell if any
software products have been updated. If there is any misunderstanding,
please feel free to let me know.

I think the only way to do this, is to check the version number of the
software. We can do this either by check the file version or by reading the
readme file.

Hi Kevin,
I was hoping, with so many products to review, that there would be some way
of quickly identifing which products had changed since the prior version of
the DVD. With each DVD containing many products, it can be time consuming
looking at each to determine what has changed since the prior revision of the
specific DVD. Even some form of highlighting on the label or content page
would help. Major revision changes are easy to spot, but minor (where you
have to try to find build or file revisions) can be very time consuming.

In any event, I guess your reponse has answered my question. Thanks for the
quick reply.

Cheers,
James
