In Access data base how do you change or take the date off of a table that is
printed? I do not want it on the table or I want a different date on the
table and I can not find a place to do it. I looked in the help section and
there was nothing there.

Thank you

Why are you printing tables? You need to be only printing queries, form, or
reports. In these you can omit anything.

It is for a class I wast told to print tables not reports. So there is no
way to change or take the date off of tables in access then?

If this is for a class, then doesn't your instructor get paid to
answer questions like this?

On the main database folder, right-click on the table name.
Copy it.
Open Word.
Paste
Print the Word document.

Or....

Select the table
Click on Tools + Office Links + Publish it with Microsoft Word
Print the Word document.

Drop the class, the instructor is an idiot.
You could delete all the dates in the table, but that would be a really bad
idea. The alternative would be to print a query based on the table and not
include the date field in the query's output.

But, in any case, the exercise is pointless. Tables are not meant to be
printed. The only thing you really want to print is a report. Forms don't
print well either.

Hi, David.

If you Print a table (or in Print Preview), the table name and current
date shows in the page header.
I took the OP's question to mean "How to not print the current date in
the page header" when he or she prints out a table.

If so, he or she could simply use Page Setup to set the Top margin to
0", but I felt that thinking outside of the "Access box" would be
instructive.

Perhaps the OP will tell us what he meant.
In either case you are correct. The instructor is an idiot.

Thanks, fredg
I guess I am exposing my ignorance. Having never printed a table, I was not
aware it printed the date.
