How do I take a copy of a slide after animations complete??

I have a diagram that starts at Stage 1 and does a few animations to get to the end of a stage 1 migration
I then want to copy that final diagram to use for another slide as the start of Stage 2
In other words, I want to copy an animated slide at a point in time to use for a new slide
Is this possible

G'Day David,

This would be lovely. The only way I have done this is to get a screen shot
of the slide after it has animated and paste objects at their destination
that way.

lot easier to do in PowerPoint.
