How do I synchronize the address book with the contact?

I am using Microsoft Outlook with Word 2003 editor on Microsoft Windows NT
Media Center Edition. My address book information does not match my contacts
information. In contacts everything is sorted by last name, first name and
file as.
But address book looks like older data before I edited information in
contacts. How do I get the data in address book and contacts to match. I
have researched everything I could find in the on-line help and nothing
seemed to apply.

It is not possible for the Outlook Address Book not to match your Contacts.
The Outlook Address Book contains no data other than your Contacts. Tha't
what it displays.
Is anything really different other than the sort order? Just set the sort
order the way you want:
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.

In Contacts I have B, Allen - when I open the address book I have Allen B
with the display name showing as B, Allen. I am trying to get my address
book and contacts to match. Everyone in my contacts show up last name, first
name.

Was there something in my reply you did not understand?
Did you do what I suggested?

Thank you for your help - I think it is OK now. I am so busy that I had not
had time to double check everything.
