How do I sync Calendar with iPod 3rd Generation

Every time I try to sync my Microsoft Office 2003 calendar with my iPod (3rd
Generation), I get the message that says "Microsoft Office has encountered a
problem and needs to shut down." Contacts synchronized just fine!

This is a problem that needs to be addressed by the maker of your sync
software. Outlook does not actively participate in the sync. It is merely
a data repository.
