how do I summarize

I have report - it goes like this. It draws data from query
Ministry Names
--------------------------------------------------
Education John
Education Tex
Finance Brian
Finance Don
Finance Ted
Finance Somebody
Finance Nobody


I want it to go like this

Ministry Names
--------------------------------------------------
Education John
Education Tex
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Total for Education 2

Finance Brian
Finance Don
Finance Ted
Finance Somebody
Finance Nobody
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Total for Finance 5


Is it possible

Group and sort by Ministry. Include a group footer and put in a Count field
in your footer. Also put an unbound text field in your footer like...

="Total for " & [Ministry] & ": "

Using the Grouping and Sorting (G&S) Dialog box to "Break" the report on
the Ministry field.
Using G&S, add a Ministry Footer to your report.
In that Ministry Footer on the report, place an text control with a
ControlSource of...
= "Total For " & [Ministry] & " = " & Count(Names)

That "concatenation" should yield the results you want... every footer
will indicate the proper ministry name in the totals concatenation.

Total For Education = 2
or
Total For Finance = 5
