how do i stop windows mail from recovering messages each time i start the program?

Tools - Options - General - [ ] Send and receive messages at startup

Hi Mike,
I believe you are saying, when start win mail, it keeps recover your old
email and new folder are created below the standard folder list.

I faced this, but have no choice to let it run, and restart the win mail
many times untill it stop recovering.
I believe there might be some change on your physical email folder, that
triggle the recovery process.

Please check the email contents, it might be all email contents are the same
