Never had this issue before, but this last time I reinstalled my win2K
system, I dutifully loaded the modem drivers and set up the dialup
account for those marvelous times when the broadband goes down
(comcast <shrug>) and now when I am using the broadband connection,
which is what I always use, some pages pop up the dialup account, and
want me to connect to the modem.

I turned off the autodial, but it still pops open the window, wanting
to dial the modem.

What did I do wrong, and how can I fix it. I know it can be done, as
its never done this before, but I don't know where to look.

Thanks a lot,

John

Thank you Dave. That was what I was looking for.

Much obliged,

John
