How do I stop the limit to list warning appearing?

I have a combobox which is limited to the entries in a table. I have put code
on the not on list event to display a message then close the application.
This works fine except for the standard "The text you entered isn't an item
on the list" warning that Access displays. Can I switch this warning off, so
only my message appears? (Setwarnings won't do it)

Thanks

The NotInList event procedure has a 'Response' argument. To avoid the
standard message, set the Response argument to acDataErrContinue ...

Response = acDataErrContinue

Thank You!
