How do I stop "smart quote" errors in Front Page 2003?

How do I absolutely ensure that I will not get bogus characters in Web text
instead of quotes? Any way to set up straight quotes in FP 2003 as is the
case in Word?

I am not sure what the problem is without seeing the site (Is it one of
those under your name?)

However, if you want to ensure that you get a double quote, you can use
" or " in the HTML code instead of the " symbol

FrontPage will only use straight quotes unless you type in the codes for
"smart" quotes. If you paste content from other programs, such as Word,
then you get whatever is in that content.
