How do I stop repeat reminder when appointment no longer exists

I had an appointment in the calendar 8 months ago. This was deledte.
However. I continue to get a reminder every time I open Office 2007.
How do I remove this repeat reminder from a long ago appointment.

How do I remove this repeat reminder from a long ago appointment.

Create a table view for your Calendar that contains the "Reminder" column,
then group by that column to collect all the entries with reminders together
in one place. Examine them and you should be able to locate the item
generating the reminder. Delete it.
