How do I stop outlook from moving emails from my sbc account?

Everytime I open outlook it downloads all of my emails from my sbc yahoo
email account. What can I do to stop this?
Also can I view my outlook emails on a different computer while I travel
 
Remove the account if you don't want Outlook to download the mail or set the
account to not delete the items if you want to just download the items.
