How do I stop FrontPage from opening a new page every time it starts?
Sorry. That's one of the "features" that isn't controllable.

Sorry. That's one of the "features" that isn't controllable.
I have set up a shortcut to FP on my desktop
Under target, I placed:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\FRONTPG.EXE" "%USERPROFILE%\my
documents\My Webs\myweb\index.html" which opens FP in my home page (on
local
disk)
I am not sure how I arrived at this, but it is very useful.
If you have many webs, you could set up a shortcut for each and put them
all
in a folder.
Steve said:I tried it and when I save the link it's being interpreted as a web
address. The backslashes are being automatically changed to forward
slashes. Could you get into a little more detail. Plus I'm using
office 2003. I'm not even sure how to create an icon from scratch in
XP.
