In Outlook 2007 I recently set up incoming traffic to auto forward to an
email account I use on laptop when travelling so I can get mail while on the
road. Upon return home from my trip, I realize the forwarding did not
duplicate the emails on my home computer and I now cannot recall how I set up
this feature or how to turn it off.

Ideally, I'd be able to have my emails forwarded to the gmail account and
also be received on the home computer. Anyone have advice for this?

Immediate problem is to reset the original account so that I can get email
traffic on my home computer again.

Thanks,

Check your rules wizard to see what you set up there. If you're in an
Exchange environment, check your OOF (out of office) to see if you added a
rule to that.

Did you perhaps use a rule for this?
Tools-> Rules and Alerts

Via the web interface of Gmail, you can configure it to also collect mail
from other accounts. This would be a better solution as to forwarding all
emails.

Even if you defined a rule in Outlook to forward copies of received
e-mails there would still be copies of them in Outlook. You sure you
did something in Outlook to do the forwarding? Maybe you enabled a
server-side forwarding function. That means you need to use the webmail
interface to your e-mail account to enable/disable the forwarding option
up on the mail server.
