When creating a new user in Windows 2003 ADS, it always askes for the "user
logon name (pre-windows 2000)" ID.

We do not have anything other than Windows 2000 and XP clients. How do I
turn this option off?

I can't leave it blank and create the id.

Thanks,

Adam

That is for the non UPN logon. The UPN logon would be (e-mail address removed).
The pre-2000 is the traditional logon where you enter your user logon name
and then select domain or local computer. Most people probably use
traditional logon and I don't think it can be disabled nor is it any tpye of
security risk nor does it require you to know your domain name to
ogon. --- Steve
