Reposting the questions you need to answer:
Outlook does not do that even when automatic name checking is selected.
All
Outlook requires is a valid address format. So I'll need the rest of
the
story: how you are entering the address, its format, and what step
triggers
the Check Names dialog. State whether your installation ever worked,
and if
so when it stopped.

Sorry. I am trying to explain it. I thought I did.
Reposting this:
Iam using IE and/or Firefox ono the web. Yes the install had worked
for a
long time. Yes it is doing that, I am actualy in the computer
industry
and I
teach it as well. Not this type of thing though. That is where
it is
and
that is what it is doing.
Info is being added through the address book if I want to keep it.
This
will happen when I try to send an email to an address that I have
never
used
before.
:
Please just try to answer my questions. I can't help you without the
information I need.

1) Under tools - options - email options - advanced -
automatic
name
checking
2) Pop if that is what you mean
3) When outlook does not find an email address or name in
the
address
book,
up pops a message box that says it cannot find the name.
Choices
then
are
to
cancle of discard. "Ok" is not lit up. If I hit cancle the
program
crashes
and the email is not sent.
Thank you.

My other 3 questions remain:
1. What "box" did you check
2. What mail transport
3. What is happening that you think shouldn't.

this
is
also
happening on 2007 B3
:
That's 1 for 4. You can do better than that.
