Hi,

My table is sorted on Entry No. The query is sorted on Job date. But the
form display is sorted on Job No. Where does the form sort setting come
from?

I need the form sorted on date. How do I do this?

Thanks for any help.

Ramesh

There is a filtering that is saved when you close the form that you can
change or delete. To change it, simple click on the field you wish to sort
by and sort it. To delete it, go into the form's design view and opren the
property sheet. Click on the data tab then delete the filter and order by
entries, save the form and your fixed.

Create a query that sorts the records in the order you want and base the
form on that query, not on a table.

Thanks Arvin.

Wonder why I didnt try that myself. I have done that earlier with tabular
kind of form. This one is Columnar and somehow it never occurred to me.

Sorry to bother you with a silly question which I didnt apply my head to.
Thanks a million for your support.

Warm regards
Ramesh
