You don't state your Outlook version, so for Outlook 2000 C/W mode, click
Tools>Services. Select the Outlook Address Book service and click
Properties. There should be a "Show names by" selection. For Outlook
2002/2003, click Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing directories
or address books>Next. Select Outlook Address Book and click Change. The
"Show names by" should be at the bottom.

Brian, I apologize. I did as you said, tried a new msg and still had
first/last file. So I clicked No in the rating. Then I realized I should
have closed outlook and re-opened. So I did and the display is last/first
now as desired. Thanks for your help.

can I fix my No rating?
