How do I shut off highlighting form fields?

With the "form field shading" control on the Forms toolbar (pre-2007) or
Developer>Controls>Legacy forms (bottom control in controls group)
How do I shut off highlighting form fields?

In Word 2003 or earlier, Tools > Options > View and change the "Field
shading" dropdown to Never.
In Word 2007, go to Office button > Word Options > Advanced and find the
same dropdown in the "Show document content" section.
