I'm trying to run two .wmv's on the same slide and can only get one to play
at a time. First one runs, then the other. But if I want them both to loop
until I click to the next slide, the second will never run.. I'm working in
PowerPoint 2007, but I need for this to be compatible with PowerPoint 2003
and able to play on any computer. I have access to Photoshop Elements,
Microsoft Expressions Media and Moviemaker, if that matters. Thanks in
advance for any advice

Well, most persons have two eyes, but that does not mean, that they can
process two pieces of moving information at the same time ...

And your media player (PowerPoint uses Windows' MCI-player) can only process
one movie at a time. You could use one wmv-movie plus one Flash-swf or an
animated GIF. They both don't use the media player and are able to play at
the same time.

Best regards,
Ute

Set one movie to play automatically, set the other to play with previous.

That seems to be dependent on the installed video card or drivers. I tried
this on my office computer and could not start more than one video. After
reading your answer I tried again on my home laptop - and it works.

Thanks,
Ute
