How do I share with an IMac user

I have created a PPT presentation using PPT 2003. I want to send the file to
someone who uses an IMac and does not have PowerPoint. Is there a way to do
this?

I've tried to find answers online but now I'm more confused.... Is there
something the IMac user can download (for free?) that will allow them to
save/open a PPT file? Is there something I can do to the file to make it
easier for the IMac user to open? My PPT file is large (32MB) with lots of
animation (fading, jpg's, slide transition).

Unfortunately, I believe that the latest version of the free PowerPoint
Viewer for the Mac is 98, which doesn't support all the funky animations
that you have used. You can try disabling the new features, but that is
likely to mess up all your wonderful animations.

Correct on both counts. And I'm pretty sure the Mac viewer only works in
Classic mode on the Mac. Is it true that later OSX versions don't "do
Classic"? If so, they may not have access to a PPT viewer.

Well. A MS-supplied one. The Tonic Point viewer might do the job though.
More on that in the Mac section here:
