My wife and I previously have were one user profile in 98 and and obviously
shared one email and contacts. Now in XP we are different users and we'd
still like to share the same inbox and contacts. How can I do this? Is there
any downside to sharing ? ie. If she receives an email will I see it when I
log on to my user? using Outlook 2000

Yes we are using one machine...though what would the implications be if I
wanted to access my email from a second machine that is networked?
Thank you ...I will study the link you sent!

With Outlook 2000 you could work with a second machine with NetFolders:

(Email synchronization)

or have a look on the "Third Party tools"
