How do I share a distribution list in Outlook 2007?

We are using Exchange 2007. MY DL has more than 400 entries (DL's within a
master DL). It is this master DL that I want to share with my co-workers.

Create a Rich Test message to your co-workers and drag the DL to the message
to attach it. Send the message.
 
OK, tried that but no data showed up in the distribution list. Instead they
got an error message that the list had been moved or deleted.
