How do I setup profiles in Outlook 2000 using Internet mail (POP3.

I have been told I can use profiles in Outlook 2000 even when I am not using
the Corporate/Workgroup configuration i.e. when using POP3/SMTP to
communicate with Internet email. I have checked MS Knowledgebase etc but
cannot find how to set this up. Can anyone help please ?

Are your referring to automatically?
Outlook Profiler now supports POP3,IMAP, and HTTP accounts.
You can auto create these internet accounts.
 
You have been told wrong: Internet Mail Only mode does not use profiles.
Perhaps the person who gave you that information thought you were referring
to Windows profiles, not Outlook mail profiles.
