i have an ftp site setup but am getting tired of manually turning off/on the
write privelege when I or someone wants to upload.
can I make a folder called upload with write access but no download access?
then I can review the file and move it to the general ftp site for download.

Try asking them here. x-posted to:public.inetserver.iis.ftp
