How do i set up outlook 2003 with GMAIL

I have followed everything on the GMail site in regards to setting up my POP
account with Outlook 2003 but i can not for the life of me get outlook 2003
to work. I am able to use outlook express freely and with no problems and I
was extatic about how it works as a program. I would love to get it to work
with outlook 2003 -- a seemingly better program. I set up the SSL smtp and
POP addresses and port numbers at 995 and 465 and everything... Checked and
unchecked everything that needed to be or not be checked or unchecked. It
sounds rediculous but I did everything perfectly.
 
And when you used the Test Account Settings, what error did you receive?
Did you set gmail to use Outlook from their page's help?

You must hate me by now but I went to set it up and look at the message to tell you what it said... and now it works perfectly... i apologize for the time and I appreciate the timely response! I look forward to enjoying Outlook 2003!
