How do I set up new stationary in Outlook 2007?

I have just moved over from using an old version of Outlook Express, where I
could set up different stationary to be used as and when required, to Outlook
2007. In Outlook 2007 I cannot see how this can be done. I have been through
the help screens, but without success. Am I missing something? Whilst the
stationary I created in Express is still listed when I call it up it is not
in an acceptable state so I need to re-create it.

So, are you saying that you cannot use a file off your computer as your
stationery, as you could in Outlook 2003/

I can, as long as its in the Stationery folder (under app data\microsoft\).
I choose it using Actions, New message using... more stationery.

Hi. I tried this. I had actually found the instructions on my own but when I
do that, it does nothing. nada. Also, i noticed in stationary under options
it says "No themes loaded" or someting like that????

try placing your files in the following: \Program files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery
You will have to load the jpg and html file in this location and you should
be able to use the new stationery.

If that path doesn't work, try these:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Stationery (Vista)
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Stationery (XP)

if there is a stationery folder in my documents, don't use it - outlook 2007
can't 'see' it - it can see the two above.

:

Outlook 2007 uses Word as its email editor (where for previous
versions
you
had the option to use Word or not).

It doesnt do anything when I click on more stationary. Now if I have read
things correctly, this could be because I purchased my Outlook 2007 AFTER my
other Microsoft Office 2007 products. And the only reason I did that, was
because Outlook 2003 started crashing regularly. I am operating Vista.

Dawn, its not that. Outlook 2007 is NOT user friendly.

I've tried every single option posted here and NONE work. None of the
stationary or themes I created in word saved in those different stationary
and theme folders show up in actions, new mail message, more stationary.

I suppose this is microsofts way of saying, hey, use ours only.
microsoft 2007 sucks
