I'M TRYING TO SET UP A POWER POINT SLIDE SHOW FOR MY CLASS THAT WILL BE LIKE
A QUIZ GAME. I'VE SEEN IT DONE BEFORE BUT HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO IDEA HOW TO
CREATE ONE. PLEASE HELP.

But, you might do better to look at the other resources at the PPT FAQ entry
for Creating Games in PowerPoint:

At the simplest level, you can create your own multiple choice games with
buttons for hyperlinks, but if you want more complicated things, you might
need to move to VBA scripting (or copying someone else's VBA scripting) to
get effects like keeping score.

set up and requires no code. However, it does not keep score.
