How do I set up a database fora sports team?

I am trying to set up an access database for a sports program and could use
some help is anyone has done this and can give me some points.

Can you ask something more specific? Sports programs involve everything from
players to teams to leagues to games to venues to standings to stats to...
 
Before you even begin to create the database, I think you should put pen to
paper and figure out exactly what information you want to track. You could
create a list of items. If you're doing the database for someone else, then
you should talk to them and find out what information they what.
