How do I set the default to "Keep Source Formatting"?

When I copy and paste a slide in PowerPoint, the pasted slide is defaulting
to the "Use Design Template Formatting" paste function. However, I want to
change the setting to always default to the "Keep Source Formatting" paste
function.

Can someone please help?

Unfortunately, we can't set the default paste behavior.

If this is the case, then why are the settings different on different
computers? I spoke with someone yesterday who's default paste function was
"Keep Source Formatting". I'm confused...

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that.

It might be that the default behavior differs, depending on what's being
pasted.
