I would like others to be able to view the items in my Calendar (including
the meeting name), but not open them to see the details. How do I do this?
I have Outlook 2000.

You can't - you either share all the details of your calendar items (except
private) in the calendar grid details when scheduling or you only show that
the time is busy. You cannot split this behavior.

After furious head scratching, Heike asked:

But I have seen the error message "Can't open this item. Unable to open the
free/busy information. You do not have sufficient permission to perform this
operation on this object." when attempting to open an item in another
person's calendar. I can view the name of the meeting and the location in
the calendar, but can't double-click to see additional details.
