I have been using the Tasks icon in Microsoft Outlook to manage my reminder
emails. When I try to save and close the task with a future date, I receive
the following message
"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not
valid"

Windows XP
Can anyone help me please.

describe the exact process you are using ( your first sentence doesn't make
sense to me yet).

If you drag an email to the Tasks folder it converts it to a Task. Is that
when you get the error message? What do you mean you're using the Task
ICON?

Everyone - turn on your Advanced Toolbars and learn how to use the Field
Chooser and Group by Box!!

Thankyou for responding to my email question

When I drag an email into the task folder as a 'move here as task with
attachment"
I am then taken to the screen which allows me to change the date for the
follow up.
When I have changed the date and try to close and save the task the message
received is
"Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid"

Here are two articles (suggested previously by other Outlook MVPs)

http://home.arcor.de/andreas.roeder-privat/English Help.htm#32
That's a very non-specific error message that can have a number of causes,
most of which seem to be related to corruption of a property in the item. I
didn't see any articles in the MSKB about it just for Outlook 2003, but you
might check out the articles listed in this query:
