I would like to establish a password so no one can sign onto my computer. How
do I do that?

Thanks

Hello,

Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > (select an account) > "add a
password"

the other slightly more secure way is to do it in the BIOS (also know as
System Setup, a configuration program you can enter when you bootup your
system by pressing F1/Del or some other key), but it can be bad if you
forget the password

Also, this is a wrong newsgroup to post this question to.

Isn't this a Windows XP question?
I went to Help and Suport and entered password in the Search box.
There is info there on what to do.

Or do you mean a password protected web site ?
