how do i send an e-mail to an outlook category i've created?

outlook rookie

does anyone know if i can send an e-mail to a business category i've created
without clicking on each individual name? i've tried highlighting and right
clicking but it does not give me a send message option.
 
Rookie:

You're close. Highlight the contacts in a Contacts, By Category view.
Click on Tools, Mail Merge and it will mail merge to those selected
contacts.

If you use 2007, create an e-mail marketing message feature. This way it
sends the e-mail personalized to each one of the contacts in your category.

If you're still on 2003 version, i found it easier to create Distribution
lists for my categories.
