How do I select media player

I recently installed Nero on my computer and now all the vidio and audio
files play on Nero. I would like to have some of them play on Windows Media
Player. Does anybody know how to direct which player will open certain
programs?

Hello, in Media Player go to Tools (you may have to right click on the very
top of the window and select from a drop down list if the menu bar is
hidden), then go to Options and finally file types, you can select the file
types that Media Player will open for from there.

In addition to what Paul has told you. Another way is to right click on
the file you want to play, select "Open with" and choose to open/play
the file with Media Player or Nero.
