How do I search for active appointments only in Calendar?

When searching in a calendar, Outlook defaults to all appointments ( past and
future ). Is there a setting to search only active appointments ( future
only ) ?

Yes, if you use Advanced Find or if outlook 2007, additional criteria with
instant search.
