How do I schedule calls for new business contacts in Business Contact
Manager. is it possible to schedule a time and date to call, and also to view
contacts by date priority?
 
Making phone calls is considered by Outlook to be a specific type of Task.
You would use the Outlook task item for scheduling these calls for a
specified date. If you need to schedule an exact time on that specified
date for the phone call you can either set the reminder on the task form to
trigger at the appropriate time or you can convert that task to a calendar
item by dragging it onto the Calendar folder thus creating a time-specific
appointment to make the phone call. A lot of Outlook users like to use the
Contact follow up flag feature to remind them of phone calls but I prefer to
use a linked task item because I can then easily sort and view them by date
and/or priority.

As a quick follow up to my previous posting. By using the 'arrange by group'
feature when viewing your tasks folder, you can get a nice picture of what
lies ahead with your scheduled calls each day and the priority can be easily
indicated by the appropriate icon as selected.
