I must have missed a chapter and verse. When my system is
scanned, it doesn't scan cookies. How do I correct this
or do I want to correct this? As you can tell, I'm not up
to speed on all this computer stuff.
Thanks

Yes, cooking scanning and data miners are not supported in this beta 1
release of MSAS, but we should expect it by beta 2.

This product does not scan for cookies as they are not
spyware. Future versions may add this functionality.

Cookies are mostly harmless and are actually a benefit
for most people (remembering login information for
example).

This will be an argument which will go on for ages :) For my personal
opinion, see my blog: http://weblogs.asp.net/stevedod

andre,
you can scan for cookies using beta1
first, open up microantispyware
next, click on tools in the toolbar
next, click on advanced tools than select track eraser.
a new window will open on the page from there check the
tracks eraser feature
next, check the appropriate boxes that fit your scanning
needs. be careful not to check off on everthing this may
cause some problems. you should read each suggestion box
to be sure of what you want erased.
last, at bottom start track eraser.
from that point on you can scan for cookies simply by
clicking on the (advanced tools icon) located in the
upper right hand corner track eraser will be listed under
privicy tools
hope this helps
