How do I save table styles in Word 2000?

I have Work 2000 at work and have created a table and saved it to styles.
However, when click on the style I named the table it doesn't put anything
in. What am I doing wrong?

Table Styles only came in with Word 2002; they don't exist in Word 2000.

As Tony explained, Word 2000 does not support table styles. But you
can format an example table the way you want it, and save it as an
AutoText entry, for easy re-use.

I have a follow up question, if I may. I have Word 2000 here at home,
and we have Word 2003 XP at work. How do I save something as an
AutoText entry and access it for reuse? And, how do I save a table as
a style in Word 2003? Thanks.
