How do I save outlook contact folders to a portable disk?

I'd like to save my outlook contact folders to a mass storage device for easy
accessibility on other computers. How can I do this without exporting into a
different type of file such as cdv?

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
