Hi,
Can anyone explain to me how I can save the music from an e-mail? I am
using Outlook Express and Windows XP. Thanks so much - Kira

The *music* is an attachment?
Right click on the attachment (when you open said email you should see the
attached files at the top) and select 'Save As'.
The rest should be obvious.

If the music/song is an attachment to the email you should see a
paperclip in the top righthand corner of the email. Click it, the first
line will be the song and the second line should be "Save Attachments".
Click the Save and it will give a window where you want to save the song.
If the song is embedded (background) in the email, that's another story.

Thank you for your help, it was very clear and I appreciate that. But,
what if it is embedded? I get a lot of those. Is it very complicated then?
Again thank you - Kira

Hi Kira,

You can try going to Tools, Options, Read tab. Check "Read all messages in
Plain Text", and the music file should show up in the Attachment box at top
the next time you open the message. You can save it from there. Hope it
works for you.
