I appologize for asking a confusing question. What I should have said
is
that I received an email with a .gif image that I wish to save. I
right
clicked on the image but the only option I have in Save as... is to
save
it
as a bitmap. I wish to keep it a .gif image. I tried saving it as
HTML
but
that saved the entire email--except for the image. I tried Copy and
Paste
with little success. Is there any way to increase my 'Save as...'
options
to
more than just the 'bitmap' option now available?
:
Empty the temp internet files. You can also save the message as an
HTML
page
- this should save the images locally and if not, you can open the
page
in
ie and save it.

I wish to save a .gif image I received in an email but Outlook only
offers to
save it as a bitmap. How can I opt to save images as .jpg or .gif?
